10-Day Unpaid Probation & Skill Evaluation Policy
1. Probation Period
All candidates applying for an internship or job at Mahashankh Design & Technology may be required to undergo a 10-day probation and evaluation period. The purpose of this period is to assess the candidate’s technical skills, practical knowledge, work quality, discipline, patience, learning ability, communication, problem-solving approach, and suitability for the company’s work environment and team.
2. Unpaid Evaluation Period
The 10-day probation period is designated as an unpaid evaluation period under this policy. Candidates will be informed of the applicable terms before starting. The company will use this period to evaluate the candidate’s performance, professional conduct, consistency, and ability to meet assigned responsibilities.
3. Performance Screening & Selection
During the probation period, candidates may be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Technical skills and practical work performance.
- Quality, accuracy, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Patience, consistency, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Professional behaviour, communication, and teamwork.
- Problem-solving ability and response to feedback.
- Ability to follow company guidelines and meet role-specific expectations.
Based on the evaluation, the company will determine whether the candidate is suitable for further internship or employment opportunities. Successful completion of probation does not automatically guarantee selection or continued employment.
4. Daily Work Reporting for Online Internships
Candidates participating in online internships must maintain and submit a daily work progress report describing the tasks completed, work in progress, challenges faced, and results achieved.
The reporting period is 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, as applicable to the assigned schedule. Candidates must be prepared to provide updates or submit their reports at any time during these hours when reasonably requested by the reporting manager or authorised company representative.
Daily reports should accurately reflect the candidate’s actual work and progress. Failure to provide required updates may be considered during performance evaluation, subject to the applicable terms and circumstances.
5. Payment Terms for Paid Work
The unpaid probation period must be distinguished from any subsequent paid internship, employment, or separately authorised paid assignment.
Where compensation is agreed upon for eligible work, the applicable payment terms will be communicated to the candidate in writing. Under the company’s proposed payment schedule, payment may be processed approximately 40–45 days from the commencement date of the relevant paid work period, subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.
No payment timeline under this clause should be interpreted as cancelling, delaying, or waiving any payment legally due for work performed.
6. Final Evaluation & Communication
At the end of the 10-day evaluation period, the company may communicate the candidate’s selection status, feedback, and next steps. Continuation will depend on the candidate’s performance, the company’s requirements, and the terms communicated for the relevant role.
7. Acknowledgement
By accepting the probation terms before commencement, the candidate acknowledges that the purpose of the evaluation is to assess skills, work quality, discipline, consistency, and suitability for the role. All probation, internship, employment, reporting, and payment arrangements remain subject to applicable labour laws and the written terms agreed upon by the parties.

Final selection depends on the candidate’s qualifications, performance, project requirements, and suitability for the opportunity.
Before commencement, each candidate will be informed of the following:
- Internship category and designation.
